STEVEN & STEPHANIE’S 16th BIRTHDAY April 9. “Please. Lord, always keep watch over them.” (Bud ^ Adrianne)
“AUNTIE HOLLY for it is her birthday (April 10).” (Dan)
“LINDA: Thank You, God, that You answered our prayers for Linda, to get a new job.” (Don & Pat)
PLEASE OFFER PRAYERS FOR:
“BRENDA: Let her be able to sell her house and move on with her life. Enable her to take care of her two young sons by herself.” (Don & Pat)
JUSTIN, who continues to be in intensive care at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
A FRIEND of Pastor and Mary who had knee replacement surgery last week.
HAROLD, who is in Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.
“DIANE, as she has surgery and weeks of recovery.”
“DONNA: She has a very possible kidney transplant very near. Just a few minor tests left. We pray these tests go in her favor.” (Don & Pat)
THE WIFE AND 4 SONS OF BILL, who died April 2 at the age of 48. “Please pray for his family.” (friend Lori)
A FAMILY who lost Carol last week.
O LORD, unless you build the house, the builders labor in vain. In Your Name, we have begun to build additions to Your church in this place. We thank you for our congregation members who have pledged and given to the project. We thank You for Lutheran Church Extension Fund, helping with this project. We pray that You will bless our Architects David Schultz and Michael Vander Ploeg; and that You will walk with our Contractors John Shales and Ron Barrick. We pray for favorable bids from subcontractors. We pray that You will protect and encourage those who labor, those who move dirt, form and pour concreted, lay bricks and mortar, the carpenters, electricians, plumbers, drywallers and painters. Please be with all of us, so that this building may be to Your glory, and for the good of Your people for generations yet to come. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
