HELP, Lord, untangle the conditions that are choking our economy and the economies of the whole world so that every able person may be fully employed; then on bended knee may we give you the thanks and praise.

ROBERT & ANNE, Dori’s parents, on his Alzheimers has gotten worse and his blood pressure is on the low side, doctors trying new mediation to slow down progression. Also, a concern over his falling.

KELSEY, a friend of our son Daniel, who has cancer in her throat and is having surgery treatment to remove it. Mike & Cheryl

RON, developed breathing difficulty after a successful triple bi-pass, now on a ventilator, comfort his wife and children. Eric

CHARLES, our son, having gastric by-pass surgery Monday.

KEITH who has seemed to escape into a world of drugs, that he can see that its just an escape from reality.

PRAYERS AT THE ALTAR JANUARY 17 & 18:

OUR LEADERS that God will give them the wisdom, courage and integrity to do what is right in God’s sight putting the country’s welfare ahead of their personal welfare.

THANKSGIVING for Great news in regard to a health issue I had recently where my blood and specimen amples came out negative, meaning a clean bill of health. Also, for a new kitten which is shared by our family. Bill

DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE in making a difficult decision.

WENDY, a granddaughter who has lost her way. Turn her back to her husband of 11 years and their 3 little girls ages 2,4,10 and older son. Protect her form further harm and danger at this time. Enable her to see that her husband has been faithful to her and a good provider.

CLOSE FRIEND, whose family mourns the sudden passing of a husband and father.

A FRIEND who has shingles. Lois

LOIS waits for a rescheduling of her knee surgery.

ROSE, pat’s mom, please let her get stronger and healthier.

VIVIAN, sister-in-law, please help her to be healed after lung surgery for cancer.

DONNA, needs a kidney transplant. Monday at NW Memorial hospital please let us find out she can have her intestines reattached and the bag removed, so she can have a better life after the kidney transplant.

NANCY who has been experiencing new symptoms related to her multiple myeloma. We pray for healing and strength.

RUSS, husband of Darlene, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elgin for physical rehabilitation after lung congestion, hoping to come home Wednesday.

FRANK, my uncle, who will be having triple by-pass surgery on Monday. Cyndy & family.

RON, brother of Gordon, for surgery for skin cancer.

RYAN of Huntley was in a snowmobile accident over the weekend, and is non-responsive.

EMMA, 5 year old who will undergo spinal surgery for a rare and severe condition on Wednesday at Lutheran General Hospital. She will be restricted to bed rest for two months and be out of school for the rest of the year.

PRAYERS AT THE ALTAR JANUARY 10 & 11, 2009:

RUSS A, husband of Darlene, was in Sherman Hospital with lung congestion. His condition is improving, so he moved to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elgin for physical rehabilitation.

LOIS Z was in St. Alexis Hospital in Hoffman Estates Tuesday for neck surgery. They took her into the Operating Room, and while they were getting her ready for surgery, she had severe heart arrhythmia. They got her stabilized, but did not do the neck surgery. She came home form the hospital on Wednesday. She will not have surgery.

BEVERLY P has been in Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington since Wednesday with heart arrhythmia, she came home Friday.

PEOPLE OF THE USA. Our citizens. Protect us from the evil people in public office, banks, and all of our government offices. May our leaders all be Christ-like.

DAVID B fell on ice last Sunday, suffered a concussion, is at home recovering. Thanks for recovery and for the person who called the ambulance.

GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT in the upcoming weeks.

JON B taking tests to be admitted to PHD program on Monday, Jan. 12.

OUR THANKS AND GRATEFULNESS that God answered our prayers and helped us greatly with our car situation, and for a safe trip to and from Florida.

MY NEIGHBOR that had a baby boy who is healthy.

ABBY & SAMMI’s GREAT GRANDMA, who turned 90, Jan 11.

PEACE & JOY for my family in tough times.

JAMES M who passed away on November 25, 2008.

THE FAMILY OF DAVE H, a friend who passed away this week at the age of 38 and leaves behind a wife and son among other family and friends. Tom & Kathy

THANKSGIVING, CAT scan came back negative. Pray for new treatments to relieve head pain.

PEOPLE who were in a horrible accident behind us yesterday on the expressway.

MEMBERS OF OUR EXTENDED FAMILY who were recently diagnosed with a rare progressive heart disease. We pray they come up with the best treatment for the adults & children.

MARY G not feeling very well over the last few days.

MATT G as he continues to grow in his faith in Christ.

PAUL O slipped on the ice Thursday and broke his ankle.

DONNA praying for a kidney transplant this year. Your will be done.

ROSE, Pat J’s mom, still has abdominal infection. Pray for healing of this and any pain.

FRANCES, Barb P’s sister, who is having lung surgery Monday.

“ALL THOSE struggling not only with cancer but also with the side effects of drugs used to treat it.”

“PAT’S MOM, ROSE, who has an infection in her abdomen. Heal her, so she can live without pain. She is 88 years old.”

“DONNA, who needs a kidney transplant. She also needs to get stronger for her next two surgeries. Thank You, God for the improvement this past Fall, and now this Winter.” (Don & Pat)

“LANI, for relief of headache and head pain. Awaiting CAT scan results.”
