PRAYERS AT THE ALTAR, July 26&27, 2008

PLEASE OFFER PRAYERS FOR:

BOB, who has been in Intensive Care in University of Chicago Hospital since a motorcycle accident July 5.

“HARRY & DIANE. Diane is 6 months pregnant and has been in a hospital since July 23, because of a blood clot. Please pray for baby and parents.”

DEL, who fell July 23, causing broken ribs and compression fractures in his spine, then went to Wednesday morning Bible Class, then was admitted July 24 to Northern Illinois Medical Center. God-willing, he’ll be transferring to another facility for physical rehabilitation.

“DONNA, who needs a kidney transplant. Thank You for the improvement in Donna since she’s been home. Thank You for the prayers of the prayer partners of Prince of Peace.” (Don & Pat)

“ELLEN’S DAD, Roy, who has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure.”

“DENISE’S MOTHER, Marguerite, who is scheduled for heart valve surgery August 4.”

BOB B, who was in a serious motorcycle accident July 5, and remains in critical condition in the University of Chicago hospital.

DONNA J, who “needs a kidney transplant; needs her back to be healed. Make it painless again. Needs her stomach to be healed. Needs her blood pressure brought up, acceptable for surgery. (Don & Pat J)

DOROTHY B, who has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

SCOTT S, who is combating side effects from malaria.

PETE K, who has a long recovery from shoulder surgery ahead of him.

BABY W, who was born on July 2 and has had 2 open heart surgeries since then.

JOHN F, whose mom died July 18. John’s dad is ill with cancer, and now has the extra burden of this grief.

PRAYERS AT THE ALTAR JULY 12 & 13:

ROBERT B, in a motorcycle accident July 5 and is in critical condition at University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago.

PA, who is fighting cancer and MA who is greatly worried about him. For Pa & Ma’s children and grandchildren who are also worried.

ROY B, Ellen’s Dad, who has been in the hospital since Monday with heart trouble.

A newborn baby grandson has heart disease. Please pray that the baby gets well.

KAYLA, my sister, who got gum graph and stitches in her mouth. Karyn

DONNA, needs a kidney transplant, needs healing her colon and stomach, the infection in her lower back, stabilize her blood pressure at an acceptable level for surgery.

THOSE STRUGGLING with addiction.

THE FAMILY OF DAVID, as they mourn his passing and Paul & Ingrid family mourning also.

MY FATHER, that he may know some peace and contentment that he may know good.

STRENGTH, GUIDANCE & WILL POWER to be a good father & family leader.

KEVIN as he celebrates his 15th birthday July 14.

LEROY as he celebrates his birthday on July 18. May God grant him opportunities to hear of His Savior Jesus and may he come to belief in Christ and saving faith.

HEIT’S POINT SERVANT EVENT PARTICIPANTS. May God grant them safe travel and have a spirit of Christ-likeness and a servant’s heart and all their efforts be blessed and beneficial beyond imagination.

EFFORTS OF COLLECTING BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLIES drive may be blessed that many needy families may be touched by our generous outpouring towards those who don’t have enough to even meet the basic back-to-school needs for their children.

MY DAUGHTER who is homeless and has great emotional & Physical needs, way beyond what I can do for her. God can help her where we cannot.

FOR PEOPLE who need forgiveness to ask and they realize there is no sin that can’t be forgiven. Help them open their eyes.

LEN & EMILY in celebration of 45th wedding anniversary, July 6.

THANKSGIVING for our children especially Alec on his birthday (13th) on Thursday.
