PRAYER ITEMS

PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING FOR:

TOM’S 14th birthday Saturday, June 25.

NORM & NAOMI’S 61st wedding anniversary Saturday, June 25. “A
wonderful example of love and commitment for all married couples.”
(Paul & Renee) (Norm’s 87th birthday is June 29)


PRAYERS FOR:

“Patience and to be ever mindful of others.”

“SCOTT AND KERRIE as they seek the adoption of an unborn Baby
girl.” (friends of James & June)

VERLE AND VI, who suffered a house fire on Friday, June 24.
Verle and Vi are OK, and will be living with daughter and son-in-law
in Cary, until their house gets put back together. Thankfully, the
firefighters were able to put out the fire using no water, just
chemical extinguishers, limiting damage to the house.

“US as we ask that our ordeal end favorably this week.”

“CHRIS, JEFF, PHIL, CAROLE.”

“Thanksgiving for safe travel to California for Brittany. Also,
prayers for her safe return on July 8th.” (Bill)

“FORTS & SORTS 2005. Many, many, many thanks for all the wonderful
faith-filled servants who gave of their time and energy, all their
energies, to serve God Almighty and all the under-privileged, hurting,
and troubled kids who attend Youth Haven Ranch and Rives Junction,
MI. Thanksgivings for safe travels throughout the week.

“HEALING FOR BRIAN, Jeff’s Son. Jeff was a crew leader at Forts &
Sorts. They are waiting for test results from a test on Wednesday.
Brian is a 19 yr. old kid who ha some serious health problems. His
pic-line in his heart broke on Monday.” (Participants of the servant
event)

“CONTINUED HEALTH for my mom, June Pedersen.”(Mark)

LOIS’S SISTER-IN-LAW CAROL who was seriously
injured in a car accident this past week. She will be hospitalized
for many weeks.

JEANNETE, who is scheduled for surgery at NIMC on Wednesday,
June 29.

JIM’S MOM, RUTH, who suffered a massive stroke on
Wednesday, June 22. She is now under Hospice Care at Fair Oaks
Nursing Home.

JOAN’S MOM, MARIE, who was put on Hospice Care at the Lutheran
Home in Arlington Heights, and is nearing the end.

CATHY’S SISTER SHARON DORSEY, “who is having surgery on the
30th. May her tests be negative and the outcome positive.” (Ralph &
Cathy)

“OUR AUNT JOAN, that she get well enough to go back home from the
hospital to be in peace.”

DON’S BROTHER DAVE. “He found out that he has a hole in the
back of his heart, and will be having more tests on Wednesday before
he has surgery in July.”

“SHARON. She broke her arm.” (Megan)


THE FAMILY OF SAM’S DAUGHER, who died Tuesday, June 21, after a
long illness.

THE FAMILY OF DOLLY’S DAD, Victor Vogel, who died Tuesday, June
21. Visitation will be at the Chapel of the Lutheran Home in
Arlington Heights, Monday, 4-8pm and Tuesday, from 9:30am until the
funeral at 10:30.
