PRAYERS AT THE ALTAR, November 29 & 30, 2008

PLEASE OFFER PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING FOR:

“SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT and the unemployment benefits extension. It truly is a blessing.”

“THE COMMUNITY OF CRYSTAL LAKE for donating 24,000 pounds of food for those in need through the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.”

“BOB finding his wedding ring. He lost it putting Christmas decorations last year, and found it unpacking them this year!”

“THE SOLDIERS, and our soldier Sean. Keep them safe while serving in Afghanistan.”

“FAMILY MEMBERS traveling to see their son in the service, safely.”

“GOD TO MOTIVATE those who are doing well to share with those who may not be doing very well through the Holiday season.”

ZACHARY in the Hospital since Saturday, November 29, with a persistent fever. (He’s receiving another IV dose of super antibiotics Monday morning, and prayerfully will come home from the hospital on Monday afternoon).

“CAROL, who has terminal cancer.”

“ARTHUR, who has a serious foot infection, is slowly healing.”

“DONNA, who needs a kidney transplant, needs to get stronger for future surgeries. Thank You, God, for her progress so far. Thank You, God, for the angel you sent her very recently.”

“MARY, who is sick with the flu, and TOM, congestive heart failure symptoms, and DENNIS, in Intensive Care; and JIM, cancer of the bladder.”

“MY FATHER-IN-LAW as he has more doctors’ appointments this week. God be with him and his children.”

“JoAnne, who is scheduled for surgery on December 4th at Mayo Clinic.”

“DON, as he battles cancer. Please give him continued strength.”

“PAT’S DAD, ANDY, in the hospital suffering from vertigo. He is doing better now.”

“ELAINE’S BROTHER who is recovering from a near-fatal reaction to a prescription drug.”

“A FRIEND OF NICOLE’S, a graduate of Crystal Lake schools, who has, at the age of 27, suffered two strokes recently.”
