ANDY L, Pat J’s Dad, who is 89 and having 13 bottom teeth pulled this Wednesday to make room for a plate. Pray for strength and no infections.

DONNA, needs a kidney transplant, help her to prepare herself for her upcoming surgery, Oct. 9.

STEVE W, who suffered a heart attack Friday, for health and healing as he faces angioplasty-Monday. Give Steve a rested and brilliant team to repair any damage and return him to all who love him.

COREY, my co-worker, for safety in travel.

BRITTANY, my daughter. Bill S.

JACEK, a co-worker, for thanksgiving, who’s wife is expecting their first child this week.

IRENE F who was struck by a car while crossing a street. She is currently recovering in a rehab.

FAMILIES EFFECTED BY LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT.

FARMERS- thank you for the rains and pleasant summer temperatures. WE pray you will send some hot days so the crops can mature.

THANKSGIVING at the occasion of Cody’s marriage to Dustin, August 11. May the Lord bless their life together.

PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING for the birth a new grandson, Nathaniel born August 23.

COLLEGE STUDENTS who are away from home, keep them safe, give them strength and courage to make good choices and resist temptations and help them to seek out opportunities to worship to remind them that they need their God and Jesus in their lives.

MARK & ROBINA M, they have been evacuated from their home due to threatening California wild fires.

WE PRAISE GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS TO OUR CONGREGATION IN THE PAST.

WE PRAY FOR OUR CONGREGATION’S MISSIONAL PLANNING WORKSHOP, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 9AM-4PM

WE PRAY:

THAT DR. JACK G, MISSION FACILITATOR FROM THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS DISTRICT OF OUR LUTHERAN CHURCH-MISSOURI SYNOD, WILL BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AS HE HELPS THE PLANNING PROCESS IN OUR CONGREGATION.

THAT ALL OBSTACLES TO PARTICIPATION IN THIS WORKSHOP BE REMOVED.

THAT GOD WILL PROVIDE SAFE TRAVEL FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AS THEY COME TO THE PLANNING WORKSHOP.

THAT GOD WILL REVEAL HIS WILL FOR US IN THIS PLACE AND AT THIS TIME.

THAT WE WILL BE OPEN TO THE GUIDING OF GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH THIS PLANNING PROCESS.

THAT OUR HEARTS WILL BE OPEN TO GOD’S DIRECTION FOR THIS CONGREGATION.

THAT WE, THE BODY OF CHRIST, HERE, IN OUR CONGREGATION, WILL BE COMMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN FULFILLING GOD’S GREAT COMMISSION IN THIS PLACE.

WE PRAY IN JESUS’ NAME. AMEN.
