STEVE W, who suffered a heart attack Friday, August 28, had angioplasty surgery Monday and stents inserted in 2 heart arteries, and came home Tuesday afternoon. “thank God for His healing power and for skilled surgeons & competent health care workers, and thank God for a caring congregation and our pastors.” (Steve)
“THANK YOU, GOD, for being with Mike & Andy after their surgery & tooth extraction. They are both showing signs of recovery.” (Don & Pat J)

GLORIA S, who had chest pains Thursday, September 3, and is recovering at home.
GEORGE M, who fell and fractured his left shoulder and wrist Sunday, August 30. He’s wearing a cast on his arm, and his arm in a sling, and he’s in considerable pain.
“14-YEAR OLD BRANDON, who is undergoing a stem cell transplant for his leukemia at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.” (Nancy & Ed W)
“HERMAN (‘RED’) N, that all goes well in his angioplasty & stent surgery scheduled for Thursday, September 10.”
“DONNA, who needs a kidney transplant this year, if it is Your will. Thank You, God, for her healing of her ankle. It is slowly returning to normal.” (Don & Pat J)

“HELP, COMFORT & HEALING, for neighbors Doug & Deb M, after Doug’s horse landed on him and broke his pelvis in 3 places September 3.” (Linda E)

“TIA C for good results of a biopsy.”
“JESUS’ PRESENCE AND COMFORT for my sister Ellen, diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma, and relief from pain. Strength for her children Anita, Ben & Brandon.” (Joe C)
LANI M’S step-dad, Mike, who is very ill.
ED D’S WIFE, NELLIE, who is breathing on her own again.
“MY GRANDSON KEITH who took a wrong turn & became addicted to heroin. He’s being released from prison on Tuesday, hopefully. We pray that this addiction of his will be arrested.”
“BE WITH DON, PAT & DONNA J, as we go to visit relatives next weekend.’
THE FAMILY OF DORI Z’S AUNT PAT, who died Sunday, August 30. Dori says, “She’s singing with the angels now, and no more pain.”
“OUR COUNTRY & GOVERNMENT, that God will guide and lead us through these difficult times.”
