Prayers at the Altar, March 6 & 7, 2010; and this morning

Dear Prayer Partners,

Please offer Prayers for:

The family of Jan's mom, Vivyonne, who died on Thursday, February 25. The funeral was at Prince of Peace this morning.

The family of Denny, as they mourn his passing. We especially pray for his twin sister and son, as they are taking it very hard. - Tom

The family and friends of co-worker - Mary, as they mourn her sudden passing today from a bout with lung cancer. - Sandy

Susan, who is having difficulty dealing with the loss of her daughter and granddaughter.

Nicole, who is having difficulties with her pregnancy which put their baby at risk.

Agnes, who felt very faint after the 8:00am early Service.

Tina's brother, Pete, who is back in the hospital waiting for a liver transplant. - Tina

Teresa, who will have oral surgery on March 12th.

Patrick, asking that he experience improved health.

Nick, asking that God give him strength to get through his suffering from cancer. - A.J.

Aunt, praying that she be able to come home from the hospital. She is 83 and needs God's help. - Amber

Russ, as he is recovering from a fractured lumbar vertebrae, wearing a brace, and is in physical therapy at St. Joseph's hospital in Elgin.

Jeannine, as she recovers from a stroke and is in physical therapy at Centegra hospital in McHenry.

Red, who is recovering from heart problems, and a stent insertion at Sherman hospital in Elgin.

Donna, who needs a kidney transplant. - Don & Pat

A friend, Tom, as his mother is going blind. - David

Loretta's mother Selma, that God would ease her pain, and Loretta's pain. May God grant the necessary strength to take things one day at a time. Help us all to trust God for needed answers. - Loretta

Roger, who needs carpenter work. - Don & Pat

Jonathan, asking that God would open up some doors for employment.

Dori's mother, Anne, who is turning 80 on this coming Wednesday.

Amber, who turned 11 on last Thursday. - Zornow family

Carroll University's 30 Hour famine, so that plenty of people sign up and that it goes smoothly.

For a daughter, who has made a bad decision and is preparing for the pending consequences. May this entire expereince be a life lesson that she doesn't forget. may she exercise Godly wisdom in the future.

For a marriage that is very stressed and in possible breakup today. May God grant peace, His gift of forgivness, and pure love. We ask for a miracle of restoration. May God be with the kids. May all pending decisions keep the kids' long-term interests in mind.

God's faithfulness even when we are faithless.

God's grace even when we are undeserving.

God's love even when we are unlovable.

God's direction in our lives, always.

For the 7th day of the week, and help us all to see it as the Lord's day.

Ourselves, so that we may take heed to the call for repentance.
